Meet Cricket
Hey there! I am so happy to meet you. Let’s first start with the burning question, “Is that your real name? It’s so cute! Cricket Crockett!” If I had a nickel for every time I’ve heard that! So, yes that’s my name, but no, it’s not on my birth certificate! My grandfather, whom I was very close to always called me Cricket. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure why, I was just always Cricket. Then some other family members and friends started calling me Cricket, and the rest is history!
I currently live in the Tampa Bay area, but I was born and raised in Atlanta. We are a beach family, so we are so excited to live so close to the sand and sea! I believe strongly in the power of pushing pause and my favorite way to do so is by soaking up some vitamin D on the beach. I jokingly call that “water therapy,” but there’s truth in jest, as this really can be an effective way to push pause in life.
I have been married to my college sweetheart, Ethan for almost 25 years now. We have raised two great kids and we are now empty nesters. It’s such a fun time of life, like we are finally alone and dating again! The only children under our roof now are our furkids, Shelties Callie and Paisley.
I am a bible study junkie, I love the accountability and discussion of a ladies’ group, in fact I’ve led more at my dining room table than I can count! I love to encourage, support and learn about others’ journey in life. This combined with my leadership personality and career path, I have found such joy in coaching and walking along side other ladies. It’s an honor to be your new ally, brainstorm partner and coach!
